So today I was playing around with pistols (I still am actually) after the WOD, and I came up with some cool things to do with them, ya know, cuz ... I'm a freak.

Pistols jumping sideways up stairs--> I like this one a lot, which is why I put it first. Stand next to a set of stairs with your left side facing it if you're going to jump off your left leg. Squat all the way down on one leg, come back up all the way and hop up a step or two, or if you're strong and daring, three; continue all the way up to the top of the steps.

Pistols jumping sideways over small barrier--> Obviously most people won't be able to actually jump over something in this manner properly, myself included I'm still working out the kinks, so I laid down a piece of tape to jump sideways over. Its much fun. You can mix it up a lot too. Jump sideways and land on the same leg and jump back right away off the same leg or jump sideways with one leg, land on the opposite leg and repeat.

One legged burpees--> If you're a glutton for punishment you can replace regular squats with pistols. The transition is made easier if you really push off on the pushup. To make it worse you can do one arm pushups too.

Walking Lunge-Pistol-->Simply perform a lunge and then a pistol. Lunge with your left, come up, pistol with your left, lunge right, and so on.

My imagination is coming up with many more, I'm just trying to find ways to implement them at the moment.

Pistol left, jump up out of it, land on right foot, pistol right, jump up out of it, land on left foot...
