I kicked myself for leaving out Corrosion of Conformity or COC--if you don't have Wiseblood, run, run, run and go buy it, steal it, download it, its a must have! With songs like King of the Rotten, the Door, Wishbone and Man or Ash, plus many others. This is one of my favorite cds! Plus they are great in concert, don't take themselves seriously at all

I generally don't listen to music when working out - mainly cause im ouside and having earphones in will only get in the way or keep falling out! If i go for a run without taking my dog i will listen to some up-beat techno songs, usually the remixed ones to keep me pumped!

The logical Song - Scooter
Call on me - Eric Prydz
Take me to the clouds above - LMC vs U2
Summer Rain - Slinkee Minx
Boys of summer - DJ Sammy
Slip Away - Mohito feat. Howard Jones

The list goes on!

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland soundtrack is out and it features old punk covers by new bands...

The ones I really liked are:

Saves The Day's take on "Sonic Reducer" (Dead Boys)
Fall Out Boy's "Start Today" (Gorilla Biscuits)
Emanuel's "Search and Destroy" (Stooges)
Alkaline Trio's "Wash Away" (T.S.O.I)
My Chemical Romance's "Astro Zombie" (Misfits)
Thursday "Ever Fallen in Love" (Buzzcocks)

If you want some really good music, music that will really get you going, check you "Declaration of a Headhunter" by Stuck Mojo. This CD will make you want to go nuts.

Jeremy...

What a find Avenged Sevenfold turned out to be! I just listened to "M.I.A." and it TOTALLY rocks!

I love the fusion of styles they've managed to do...If only they could add a SoCal/Emo sounding voice instead of that hard-rockish one...Rufio's voice in their music would just blow me away!

Oh and get rid of the whole-Iron Maidenish visuals!

Still great find though, so thx!

I take back what I said about the voice in Avenged...These guys are freakin awesome! The music is so rich, fantastic musicianship that goes beyond showcasing amazing chops.

This is possibly the best fusion of some of my favourite music styles.

And even if the cheesy artwork doesn't do it for me the music sure has flair!

I usually listen to christian screamo (no, it's not an oxymoron) during my workouts.

Emery, Haste the Day, Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, Beloved, Bloodlined Caligraphy, Dead Poetic, Underoath, Zao... just to name a few. it keeps everything fast and intense

The sounds of my heart about to explode and heavy breathing are the usual sounds for WODS done at the gym...
...but if I am doing them at home it gets mixed up with some hard stuff, and a couple classics (you can never beat eye of the tiger *grin*).
