Re: 2011 NBA Playoff Thread

I'll go on record saying that the way LBJ treated cleveland was ridiculous. He said for years that he wanted to be there forever and then ... all of a sudden .. change of heart - give me a break, I'll never have any respect for the guy.

Then, they have some celebration in Miami like they're already as good as the bulls were when they had MJ - really? They haven't done ANYTHING yet?!? I guess it helps my cause that I'm already a mavs fan but I'll never ever ever root for this guy or the heat.

GO DIRK!!!!

Re: 2011 NBA Playoff Thread

Y'all need to stop hatin'! Miami 92 Dallas 84.

Miami's Big 3 combined stat line for game 1:

65 points
28 rebounds

I have not jumped on the bandwagon, I just don't like haters.

Why if you dislike a team are you considered a hater? Are you not allowed to dislike a team?

It isn't...

Is it just me or was it ridiculous last night?

Re: 2011 NBA Playoff Thread

It was bad. The Mavs shot more free throws but it seemed anytime they were getting back into it there was a call that put them down.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had 7 years to surround LeBron with complimentary players that could help him win an NBA championship and they did not. Cleveland had their chance and blew it. I respect LeBron for doing what was in his best self-interest. He did not want to end up like Kevin Garnett who spent 12 seasons playing for a crappy franchise that thought Wally Szczerbiak was the answer.

The value of the Cleveland Cavaliers increased two-fold under King Jamesí rule. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/32/...rs_324902.html (WFS) The franchise should thank LeBron for the rest of his natural life.

I did not say that. Yes people are allowed. But if a person dislikes a team over petty nonsense, I think it's childish.

If by "petty nonsense" you mean doing something like this (WFS) before the team ever played a game, then yeah, I guess I dislike them for petty nonsense.

I love watching LeBron as a player and by all accounts he seems to be a nice enough guy, but the way he handled The Decision was just despicable.

I've never watched the darn thing and I still haven't. People need to get over it and move on with their lives. Harboring such animosity may cause hypertension which defeats the purpose of doing CF.

Re: 2011 NBA Playoff Thread

I have a long list of reasons to dislike Lebron that extend beyond the Decision.
