P90x is like multi-level marketing basically, a pyramid type scheme, i hate to sound cynical but with 5 posts and all of them on P90x i'm a bit suspicious.

i'm always very wary of the MLM type movements.

I know you guys don't know who I am, but all I can say is that I love CrossFit and I would not come to the CrossFit Forum and disrespect CrossFit in any way. For some reason, it hasn't given me the results that I wanted. It could be diet, or something else. That's what I'm trying go find out. And for the record, I didn't buy the P90X DVD's. I borrowed them from my co-worker who is currently doing CrossFit.

Have you trained at an affiliate? What you make of the .com workouts is up to you. I "crossfitted" on my own at a globo gym with for months with little results, then I joined an affiliate and learned was crossfit really is. I'd really suggest seeing the intensity level at an affiliate.

No problem. I'm just a little frustrated at this point.

Focus on getting stronger, and then go after some performance goals like a sub 28min 5k row or a bodyweight snatch, and things should take care of themselves.

+1 to joining an affiliate and getting some real coaching.

If you're living on steak, sure. But why would you do that when less expensive cuts are so much tastier?

I didn't say you needed more protein, either. What I mostly noticed was the pitiful lack of carbs and fat in your diet.
