Sound guy for Grateful Dead eats NO carbs

http://activenocarber.myfreeforum.or...m_about22.html (WFS)

Sorry, have not seen this posted yet, but I just read it on the low carbers forum. Here is a link to a spin off "no-carb" forum. Apparently he used to brew LSD..But still! He's 70 years old and is almost 100% carnivorous. Thoughts?

I know when I think elite fitness, the first group I look to for advice and inspiration are burnout hippies.

Yep, not saying it's reputable just thought it was really interesting how in-depth he is with it. Plus being 100% carnivorous sounds badass to me.

I skimmed over some of his posts and his page, and you're right.

I don't agree with his conclusions, but he seems to have done a fair bit of research that's for sure.

Re: Sound guy for Grateful Dead eats NO carbs

A couple of guys ate nothing but meat for an entire year. They turned out fine. Obviously it wasn't a real experiment and these guys weren't training for any sort of athletic performance, but it's a pretty compelling story.

Thanks for the link Shane. After learning of Dr Stefansson a few years ago through the Nutrition and Metabolism journal I really wanted to get hold of his journal to read and examine, or even longer extracts. Your link contains another link which contains some longer extracts!

Don't forget to include the sugar cube when doing your Zone block calculations.

Randy, that post is one of the first I read a while back that got me going on Paleo. It is a great read.
