First Cindy!

Well after about 3 months back at Crossfit, finally did Cindy. I got 22 rounds and beat everyone else in the gym so pretty proud of that. I just wonder is that considered Intermediate or what?

Re: First Cindy!

Nice work, man!

Anything over 20 is real solid, 25 is badass, and 30+ pretty inhuman.

Looking through last years CF Games program the male competitors ranged from about 22 to 32 rounds of Cindy, with an average of about 25 or 26 rounds.

EDIT: Chris Spealler has Cindy listed as THIRTY EIGHT. That is rediculous. Insane. I'd love to see a video, see exactly what the hell he is doing!

Don't know for sure, but I can tell you what he's probably not doing--slowing down. I can do one Cindy round in about 30 seconds, so he's basically keeping up the 1 round per 30 seconds pace for 20 minutes. The fact that Speal is only about 5'4" helps out because it gives him a short distance to travel and still get full ROM, but it also helps that he just doesn't get tired during bodyweight metcons.

Oh, and to answer the OP's question, anything over 20 puts you in the "above average" category.

Re: First Cindy!

Thanks guys, and yeah being 6 foot and 205#'s does not make it easy i promise. Dolphin kip helps and somehow i did not fatigue on the push ups. I think i can do 25 to 26....that will be my next goal.
