Re: HELP! No solid food

It's only 2 days, eat what you can eat for now. I doubt you will lose anything from 2 days.

A blender is your friend. Fruit and vegetable smoothies are obvious, but you can make meat smoothies as well. If it were me, I'd take a nice rich meat stew and puree it.

ewwwwwww. I'd rather stick to a GOMAD (exclusively) diet for 2 days. Actually, I've been wanting to try that just to see what happens. Maybe I should get tooth surgery.

5 ripe bananas + 5 oz spinach + 8 oz water = about 500 calories of 'green smoothie' love.

I had oral surgery when I was in high school and my mouth was wired shut for 6 weeks. Buck up man. You can blend anything. I thought the meat smoothies were good. Mashed potatoes and meat gravy smoothie was awesome (I know, not paleo). Neither are cookies, cake, or donuts blended with milk, but they're almost the same mouth feel and taste as bites washed down with milk. The point is, if you can blend it, you can enjoy it if you're hungry enough.

For me, it had to be fine enough to fit between the cracks in my teeth. I'm assuming your's just has to be small enough chunks to swallow.

Re: HELP! No solid food

V8 now makes a juice enhanced with fiber; it's not as good as eating raw vegetables (mainly due to the salt), but it's a decent fix so you're not gorging on sugar from smoothies/fruit juice. And V8's fairly tasty...
