Chelsea

I did some searching and can't find this in the forums, but how do you score Chelsea?

Each minute on the minute for 30 minutes

5 pullups
10 pushups
15 squats

Re: Chelsea

It's a pass/fail type thing.

If you make it 30 minutes you pass. If you can keep going after that your additional rounds count your score. E.g. Chelsea +2 means you did 32 rounds in 32 minutes before you failed a set.

Re: Chelsea

I always thought Chelsea +2 was adding 2 reps to each exercise.

30 mins AMRAP - 7 Pull ups / 12 push ups / 17 squats, you have been around longer than me though Shane and I guess theres more than one way of cooking chicken.

Looking back, I think you're correct. It's not a real good workout for scoring though; Cindy is far superior in my opinion.

yes I second that , if I see Chelsea is the WOD there is no fear, but Cindy and a need to get a PR can make me very nervous.

Re: Chelsea

I have a new found respect for anybody that can get remotely close to finishing Chelsea.

I just did 1 round every 2 minutes, for 10 rounds, probably could've made it one or very maybe two more. That absolutely killed me, and each round took at least 50secs to complete.

If anyone can complete 30 rounds in 30 minutes - I will bow down before thee

Re: Chelsea

Pretty sure Speal, Kelly Moore etc wouldn't need 30 mins to finish 30 rounds, even with a 20lb vest!

Yes, I'm bragging by proxy. What a horrible habit.

You're going to be bowing down to a lot of people buddy. Pretty sure a lot of people on here can do 30 rounds in 20 minutes, self included. A friend of mine has done 39 rounds in 20 minutes, that's the most i've heard of anyone doing.

Better get on my knees then. Since I last posted I've actually figured out kipping pullups, so I can see how it's a little more attainable. But still, it was all the pushups that really got to me. But it's just practice I suppose, one day I'll get there

But, better do as promised....

Re: Chelsea

wow.

39 rounds in 20 minutes? Jesus....

Today I did 7 rounds before I finally took over a minute to complete a round.

I have a long, long way to go.
