Re: Weapon X

Its reference to RIp's board where he cautions against farting while deadlifting and squating. I was going to go into more detail, but I really don't feel like talking about poo. I do want to know what weapon x is though. Maybe it's similar to cropdusting.

Re: Weapon X

WELL, our plot is foiled...Weapon X is revealed...

My boy is a STUD.

Just like to point out that he doesn't collapse after doing that...I think the laying down thing is over-rated but that's been stated in other threads.

Re: Weapon X

Old news!

Seriously awesome performance though. Don't mind the haters in the comments suggesting that butterfly kips imply an improvement/cheat/alteration in form rather than in fitness.

His kip was hardly perfect, and could have been way more efficient (I'm thinking sub 2:00 easily if he had it in order).

He didn't collapse... he didn't even look winded. I'm dumbfounded by these tiny guys (I'm 150#) managing it this quickly, while I'm sitting here on 12:00 or 13:00 as rx'd if I'm lucky. Impressive stuff. Look out CrossFit games...

Re: Weapon X

Yeah IMO he just got too amped up and was trying to go as fast as possible and lost his rhythm during that middle set of pull-ups.

Re: Weapon X

Aye, I really think he would've won the '08 Games...we'll see what happens this year. One thing about Josh, he can't be phased or intimidated and I've yet to see him lay down after a WOD still! Although we know Mikko does the same thing.
