Best Fight Gone Bad scores?

Hey Folks,

I tried the search function, but it did not yield any results.

Is there a thead where CrossFit'ers have posted their best FGB scores?

A guy at my scored 479 today. It was really impressive. I just wondered how this score ranks withe some of our elite CF'ers.

TIA,

Ryan

Re: Best Fight Gone Bad scores?

the hardest part of logsitall is using the ranking stuff (i still haven't figured out a way to make this work easy) - so there are two good short cuts:

1. i have a page with basically the top times in the system for every cf named workout:
http://www.logsitall.com/myranking.asp?user=4564

2. this is the link directly to the FGB 3 rounds standings:
http://logsitall.com/stats-embedded-...r=&ag=&mmx=max

hope that helps.

Thanks, Jason/Bill.

According to BP's 2nd link it's the 2nd highest FGB to date. Wow!!!!

The highest score, 495, was performed by Buford Bennet age 50 .

I think the 50 yr old's score was scaled.
Did you tape him doing FGB? videos are valuable for form check! Ive seen a lot of push jerks with partial extension for the push press, and "front of toe" box jumps without full extension of the hips. Thats like counting a home run when the ball lands 50 feet before the fence.

Not quite but it still would be nice to know if it was scaled or not.

We took a couple quick vids, but did not capture the entire workout. His form was pretty good, though.

Ha, well said. Logsitall is a cool tool, but when I see a 50 year old guy who trains out of a globo gym hit 600 on his FGB, or get a 1:20 Fran, I have to wonder. I know there are some monsters out there, but at this point I'm only taking guys from HQ or guys that I've met in person seriously. Someone doing a box jump at a globo gym, and someone doing a box jump in front of a level 2 certified trainer are two completely different animals.

Re: Best Fight Gone Bad scores?

re logsitall "credibility" - this is a real issue and one that i've been concerned about since launching the thing... the ranking that i set up for c2 allowed me to flag any entry as 'individually entered - no verification'. 'individually entered - machine verification' and lastly 'race entry'.

The hard facts were the race entries.

For the crossfit rankings - i set it up so that people could vote on the credibility of any entry - figuring that the group of logsitall users could do a pretty good job of sniffing out bad data - i also manually delete entries that are clearly wrong. so far i think most of the really bad data comes from simple user error (not understanding rx vs non-rx for instance). i'm also working on a better way to allow users to attach video to the really fast entries.

till then it is wise to take a close look at any top score listed before deciding that it is one that is a true "world record". any other thoughts or ideas would be welcome on a better way to handle this. in some ways it is sort of like moderating a forum.
