Flying Squirrel Suit

This may get shifted to Stuff and Nonsense.

Unbeknownst to me, there is apparently a race to be the first person to jump from an airplane or heliccopter without a parachute, and live.

I thought someone did that with skis. Maybe not, I think he had a parachute. He basically went up in a helicopter towards the top of the mountain, and basically glided in the "squirrel suit" down the slope of the mountain, maybe 20, 30 feet above the "ground" (slope of the mountain) the whole time. But at the end he did use a parachute. I suppose someone could do that on a mountain... maybe this guy's idea will work

Ya while reading the article and looking at the video, I had some flashback of a movie I saw when I was a kid where the dude would actually do exactly what you said.

It was during the whole "air surf/snowboard" thing and he had a snowboard at his feet while sky jumping. The whole movie was about that instant where at the end , he would have landed on the mountain and be the bad-@ss of the century.

Anyone remember that movie? I was way too young and I can barely see those flash in my brain memories, but I know for sure it wasn't a dream!

Re: Flying Squirrel Suit

dude parachuted out of a plane at 10,000 ft in the England at the beginning of the year, niether chutes opened.

Dude waved into his head cam at the end and said "bye" before he though he would die and then landed on a bush, only broke a rib. Now thats amazing!
