I just got back from my semi-annual physical exam. My weight was down 6 pounds from March, and my previously-borderline-high blood pressure was normal. The funny part was when he put on the BP arm cuff thing and it didn't fit. He said "We'll use the bigger cuff which we usually use for the obese guys but I guess it'll work for you too. Your arms are real muscular, What have you been doing?" So I went into my usual crossfit sales pitch, explaining WOD's and my array of oddball training involving such things as sandbags, sledgehammers, logs, and rocks. I could see he didn't believe me, and after a period of stunned silence he says " Well, yeah, whatever you're doing its working so . . . "
I love confusing the medical establishment.
