skipping ropes?

Given the inspiration from today's video, I think I will purchase a skipping rope. This will force me to work on my double unders instead of subbing all the time with knee tucks.

Is there a specific type of rope that is recommended for our types of workouts? i.e. weighted vs. non weighted.

I bought a $12 "speed rope" with ball bearings in the handles from my local sporting goods shop, works great...i am not great at DU yet, but at least now i can work on 'em

Ditto the recommendation for a "speed" rope (mine: wooden handles, ball bearing swivels, leather "rope", $15 retail in high-cost NJ). Makes double-unders much easier.

For those that own a Buddy Lee rope which one do you recommned?

Is a "Magic Speed" rope enough for doing CF and learning double unders or are the pricer ropes worth getting?
