Hi,
Anyone (crossfit personnel) know whether there is likely to be a UK certification in the next 12-18 months? Many thanks |

that would be very cool indeed!!!
Simon - in the meantime, have you checked out your nearest CF affiliate? I think there are now aff's in London (wherever Andrew is), Manchester, Newcastle and (if you are fortunate enough to live in gods own country) Motherwell nr Glasgow. |

Re: UK certification?
Aye, I agree, it would be very cool to have certs in the UK.
Personally, I'm gonna try and get to Santa Cruz for my Level 1 later this year. Of course it is pretty expensive to do this for us in the UK, but having talked to a couple of folk that have made the journey - they have said that it is invaluable experience in terms of the people you are able to meet here, the densely packed affiliate network in and around Santa Cruz to check out, the general atmosphere, etc etc - I can certainly imagine it is. So I think there is something to be said for making the trip if time and money permit. |

Re: UK certification?
Heck, if I had the proper cert levels to help out, I'd love to come over to help out at a cert in England.
But how much is a flight anyhow? From what I saw last year, I was looking to take a flight from Detroit, Michigan USA to Dieppe, New Brunswick Canada, and it was around $450. Just for kicks I looked up a flight to Torino, Italy, and it was $450. |

Re: UK certification?
Hey Guys
I was at the Valencia Cert in August. All in all the flights, accomodation and cert came to just under £1600 so around $3200 plus spending money on top of that.. Was it worth it? Oh Yeah! So worth it that if my partner allows ![]() It would be great to have a crt in the UK but travelling out to the US and seeing all the superstars is worth every penny. Get out there ASAP! |

Re: UK certification?
I would be there in a flash either way if I could afford to. Though obviously a Europe based cert. would be much easier for me to get to ;-)
