Avocado Oil is also a great alternative to hand/body lotion. Important in dry climates.

Hone: Do you think coconut oil that is not extra virgin is low quality as well? I use a virgin, non-hydrogenated kind but I dont splurge for their extra virgin.

The Bertolli extra light I referred to is extra light tasting, same fat content as standard oil.

Or is this still poor quality? Got any links for reading about olive oil?

It was my understanding that some olive oils were bad for cooking, as they break down easily. But if you're not cooking with it, I thought most of them were fine...

I think the nut intake question is worthy of discussion. It has nothing to do with olive oil though. Maybe you should start a new thread.
