Go to my blog to read what I've done so far with the notes from the Golden seminar. I've got more to do with the original document which I will post here soon with much better printable quality. For those of you who where not there, you missed another fabulous CrossFit event. If you ever get a chance to see Dan John do a cartwheel or forward roll you absolutely must not miss it. That line some time ago about the very needed law regarding Matt G. not being able to take off his shirt in public. Yup. No matter what you think of your own Adonis like appearance in the mirror it will be severely challenged when you see Matt. Absolutely amazing crew there with Coach and the finest instruction and instructors available.

I'll get on the notes. If someone knows how to get in touch with Steve Seapker, please growl at him and let him know I need the lifting progression he taught to complete the notes.

Eugene, thanks for posting these notes, they inspire me to (someday) get to a certification seminar. I'll be reviewing them all weekend!

Eugene...I think you're looking for the Burgener warmup/progression. You can find it here:

http://danjohn.org/iii9.pdf

I think there was also a video link posted on the front page of the mothership recently (featuring Sage). Or you can get in touch with Steve.

More great work Eugene. I really benefit from your writeups, especially as I was too oxygen deprived when i came out to Santa Cruz last April... Whats the elevation there, anyways?

Great notes - Thanks!

I look forward to reading some more.

Can anyone give more information on Coach Rutt's use of dumbells?

Many Thanks,
Steve Cork.

IIRC, there's a CFJ article featuring Coach Rut's DB stuff from not too long ago. Issue #26, October 2004. Like a 4-5 page article w/lots of pictures.

Brilliant Eugene. I finally had time to go through it closely. Your description of Krav Maga was right on!
