I'm sick of dirtying measuring cups for every meal, so I'd like to get a nice kitchen scale, preferably electronic so I can zero it on bowls and things. I'm also dirt poor, so I can't afford to spend a lot. Have any CrossFitters found a happy medium? Thank you!

I have a cheap scale I bought at Safeway and a two-cup measuring cup that I use at every meal. It takes about four seconds to clean the latter and the former gets cleaned occasionally.

Honestly if I had weights for Zone blocks I might get a good scale and use those, because I'm sort of suspicious about the accuracy of a lot of the volume measurements. But I don't...

Emily,
Not sure where in the world you are however, my sister picked up a "starfrit" model at Price Club/Costco for ~$20.00
Let's you zeroize the scale with a plate/bowl etc before you put the contents in. Also displays imperial/metric measurements.

Mike
