I've continously been reading on here that flax isn't that great, I currently consume almonds, pecans, macadamias and fish oil on a daily basis, what can I use to replace the flax in my shakes?

Have some joint issues from ski racing, the DH kind. Flax seed for me at least helps with my joints. Usually mix it with food or in a shake if I have one.

That is from my experience and how my body reacts. It may do things different for you.

One thing to note is that Flax seed is on the list of suggested things to eat as a supplement to help those with ADD.
