Eh, whatever floats your boat, I guess. On a diet with as low carbs as Atkins, I don't really think that eating smaller amounts of sat fat will make a huge difference. I could be wrong though.

I don't know either. It seems like an open question. I feel like the old guy never would have gone for that though. There are probably political considerations involved.

the Enig/fallon book "Healing Traditions" has an interesting perspective on sat-fat.

If our food supply were grass fed it would be a moot point.
