Re: Lindsay's workout log

Finished the workout in 25:30. I am taking today off though because my hamstring has been bothering me since before yesterday's WOD...might ice it and then heat it tonight...don't know what is up with it...will hopefully get back at it tomorrow and be fine!!

Nice workout there, 200 reps of anything makes me hurt and start sucking wind.

Re: Lindsay's workout log

Thanks Shane!! I was glad that even though I couldn't make it to class I was able to motivate myself to do SOMETHING lol..and it felt like I was at the gym by the time I was done

Today's WOD:
"Power Intervals"
Perform the following exercises:
On the minute, every minute for 20 minutes.
*Try to get 2 rounds per minute if you can!

3 Power Cleans 135/95 FB 155/105
6 Burpees

Score: Total Rounds completed. If you miss a round, finish it out and then sit out the remaining time to rest.
*The Power Cleans should be heavy, so if your not able to do RX, go a little heavier than you normally do if possible, while still maintaining good form.

I am going to try and do RX but don't know if I can..I will at least do 88lbs..I want to say I have tried RX before just to see but can't remember now.

Oh, and pushups program...I have been doing them just not recording them.
Today's plan for that:
Set1: 14
Set2:14
Set3:18
Set4: 14
Set5: Max: At least 20...my goal is 30

Re: Lindsay's workout log

Last night's workout was tough for me. I thought I would be able to do 88lbs but I could barely do 77lbs it seemed like. It was frustrating because I am so weak when it comes to my upper body. Yesterday's WOD was basically 3 things that I am horrible at all tied into 1 WOD. But, that is how I get better and I am trying to fine tune my diet so I can get stronger in the gym so hopefully this will improve! I finished in 31:35.

Tonight's WOD is a long one but I am excited for it..I am sore so having a more cardio WOD will be nice. It is:
" MET KHAN"
400M Run
Then...

50 Box Jumps 24/20
10 KB Swings 53/35
20 Weighted Sit ups w/KB
40 Box Jumps
20 KB Swings
20 Weighted sit ups w/KB
30 Box Jumps
30 KB Swings
20 Weighted sit ups w/KB
20 Box Jumps
40 KB Swings
20 Weighted sit ups w/KB
10 Box Jumps
50 KB Swings
20 Weighted sit ups w/KB

Finish with...
400m Run

Re: Lindsay's workout log

Yesterday's workout was great..I needed something light like that after Monday and Tuesday AND I needed something that I wasn't weak at for mental reasons. But, I finished first....which doesn't happen very often. It makes me think that I miscounted and it is bugging the crap out of me trying to remember. I think I am just going to have to re-do this one on the weekend or something and see what my time is and compare the 2. My time yesterday was 18:07. I did some rowing afterwards...need to work on my times with that. I did 500m in 2:13. I know I have done better than that in the past but would like to get it under 2 minutes. Then I did 2 100m sprints and called it good.

Today, I am resting from the WOD's...mainly because I can't go tonight but I know it is also good for my body. But, I am going to run on my lunch break down on the water front...I have a 5k mapped out...it is just going to be a light run...that is, if the weather stays this way..if it sprinkles, I am fine but if it starts pouring then it is a no go!
