ugh; a stressful text message late last nite + no sleep = crap in the gym.
Its not every day I'm threatened with destruction seriously. Kind of realizing in retrospect this harassment began when I started living alone; not that I wasn't before for the most part, but I guess I seem more vulnerable.

I had a miss at 30, and one at 40 (bar forward snatch or crappy feet-in snatch). I did have some ZINGers with the 40, PF flyers!!! Would love to be able to zing like that on every lift. I love snatching, Im still not good but I love it.

I LOVE snatch off boxes, usually do great; I decided to call it and finish up tomorrow given the situation. I was so looking forward to this session and I'd rather do it 'mo better', as nik would say, after sleeping decently.

I did some work for Dave Devries this week, a very good illustrator, lives in NJ. I get to work with the best, sometimes!! He called this illustration "pestilence", I dont know it reminds me of aging.

Yeah!! Its a Dorian Gray kinda day, rainy chilly full moon achy PMS time. I didn't FEEL that bad at all, a little tired - but my mid back is so sore; not injury sore, its bad DOMS; and not lats - midback, like rhomboids I guess? Maybe staying tight for all the squats Sunday after the jerks? My legs were a little sore, not that bad though. I took a mineral bath & stretched/foam rolled/trigger point last nite.
My snatch sucked eggs tonite, couldnt finish the pull at all on 42+.

42kg/2 (2) missed and did over second rep of 2nd set, he said, why did you look up? (because, it was a Nike snatch - Whoosh! FLEW like hell, but it was forward.)
46kg (5) missed all, not finishing, started jumping back dont wanna go back down THAT road. Pete said they looked pretty good, some were just a tad forward and be more aggressive with sticking the catch. I dont know, when I dont finish the pull I jump back and every so often I pull off my toes (forward).

Danica said, stop jumping - don't pull BACK either - just up on toes & high pull - use traps. Supposed to help you get used to lift heavier weights off the floor. Ok. She's a good coach too. Nice person and good coach. Nik said, PLEASE tell her - been saying it every session she pulls. hahaha

Got the meat in Blairstown - the clerk was wearing chain mail. Really. He let me touch it (it was on his hands, he said it protects from shark bites. ??? I guess HE doesnt go to Blair Academy; nice kid though! All the kids in Dales are pretty nice.)

I got mocked for two steps back out the rack (joke on them, haha!) and, I was asked to wear a teeshirt, not my tank! I usually bring a cutoff tee for over my tank in front squat or cleans (when I don't want shoulder slippage). But I take it off otherwise b/c, hot and, well, I sweat & stink like a man in a teeshirt (I carry deodorant, of course).
Kind of random. I asked, something I should know? am I exposed, is something hanging out?? No. Was told its disrespectful attire (even tho the other girls wear them) and its new rules, his gym, wear one or get out. Whatever. Its not that big a deal I guess I can wear one. Offensively decrepit? Maybe show up in muslim attire?

is it ever going to be sunny?? PMS time cycle is late again, felt slow & fatigued today, low back bothering & snatch boo boo (shoulder & back). Partly the rainy weather I think. Plus I helped put up a dog run in the woods. Today's program was a good one for today, in Kciwdrah.
Jerks were better than Thurs, bar back nice and no short stepping.
Its deer hunting time, bowhunter on the land - and leaves down all around.
