Sandbags, dumbbells, tractor tires and sled aren't on there, but you get the idea.

I made a lot of stuff myself(the sled, the sandbags, the med ball), but also had a lot of stuff made for me(the farmer's bars, the boards, the boxes).

If this helps anybody out with ideas for their own gym, I'm honored

Those are bench press boards. They're used to shorten the range for bench pressing, in order to overload the lockout part of the movement more.
Many powerlifters use them because they mimic the use of a bench shirt(which is a shirt so tight it basically helps you get the bar of your chest, but about half-way up you have to press it out yourself)
I don't use a bench shirt, but those boards are really fun to use once in a while. Most powerlifters I know use them at least once a week. It also takes some strain off your shoulders.

Here's an example

Definitely fan of the GD, but I got the name from the version of the song by Wilson Pickett. Didn't know GD made one too, I need to check it out asap!

Hey Wil,

I had a carpenter make the boards for me. I still have the measurements somewhere around here. He stuck them together with glue and then made them presentable by polishing them(not sure of the word).

The farmer's bars were made for me by a guy who works at the Belgian Space and Environment Research center
He made them during his free hours using material of the Belgian state. It cost me around zero euros.
Their 100% aluminum and have a 50 millimeter and a 30 millimeter handle each.
Those bars are great, I actually use them for overhead pressing the most, but they're great for bench pressing, zercher squats or even back squats too.

For my med ball(will look for more pictures as soon as I got home)I used an old basketball, cut it open and filled it up with yellow sand. I used a ton of tape on it. You can't totally see it in the picture, but it's called "Helga", after a very, very big lady who always managed to find me and toss me around the room when I used to go folk dancing. I was very much afraid of her.

The boxes are made from very sturdy wood, also by that same carpenter. I can take a picture of them on their side to show how they're constructed, if anyone's interested.
They're very sturdy. I have done a 275 kilo rack pull from under the kees off of them and they show no sign of damage.

TO THE MODS: is it possible to add a "not WFS due to some posters" notification to the original post? I can't access it any more.

No idea, but Andy Gann recommended it. Better safe than sorry, I guess.

Some more pics:

Re: My homegym ...

That makes me laugh, you go to all that effort to take the pics and post them up here for us all and the first post you get is to label it not WFS by someone whos not even a mod. Never mind the post police, the rest of us appreciate it.
