Maybe worth a look, not sure on available sizes though.
I just scored a pair from a seller in Chicago last week, I should have them this week if USPS and Canada Post are typical in their service time.

I'll post up pics and reviews.

Very excited to try these out!

Cool...let us know how they are, if the hype is to be believed or if its nike's marketing dept at their best.....

I also need all the justification I can get as I'd love to get a pair however the wife can't seem to see the importance of having the right shoes for the job.

I just got them today, and will take some pics and stuff after working on some o-lifts.

I have to say, compared to working out barefoot or in my frees, these shoes are FANTASTIC. It's like wearing magnetic boots, the level of stability is amazing, and it helps a lot with alignment throughout the bottom end of my front squat and overhead squat. I found it much easier to direct all my force directly down to the ground, rather than trying to 'push the ground apart' with my legs.

More in a bit!

So after using these for a few weeks now I have to say I stand by my original statement.
Great weightlifting shoes, and they fit perfectly.

Make sure you order these in EXACTLY your size, if you are a halfsize get them in a halfsize, otherwise they may run too big/small.

So are the Nike's approximately a 1" heel height? That was what it looked like in the picture with the tape measure but was hard to tell where the sole of the shoe stopped.

Hello,

Where can I get this sneaker? What is the value?

Thank you.

At that point, it didn't matter to me if they would have helped at all for lifiting; they looked great just as commemoratives of the Beijing Olympics.

Well, when they finally appeared on the nike.com store, i was disappointed to see that the look of the reds had changed with all the details stripped (wfs link to nike store: http://www.nike.com/index.jhtml?site...US&co=US&la=EN)

I held out hoping i would find a supplier of the team China ones. However, some coupons showed up and made the deal too sweet to pass up so went for the reds despite not looking the way the originally did.

I just received them today and i could not be more giddy. They are the ones shown on the Nike labs site! I have no prior experience with weightlifting shoes but as far as i can tell, they are solid. compared to other shoes, "built like tanks" is an appropriate description. In addition to the sturdiness, I almost don't want to wear them as they are just beautiful. See for yourself....

I think you're a little late for the exact ones referenced in the OP.

Best place to get Romaleos in general is probably Rogue.

They'll run you $190.

And if you wear them as sneakers, I will personally come to Brazil and smack you
