Anyone used one/both of these? I'm considering buying a few bands to help me out with some gymnsatics stuff, like in Tyler's article. Iron Woody is a bit cheaper, but I'm wondering how they stack up in terms of quality?

ROo just got some Iron Woody's for his middle school kids, I'm sure he could give you some wear and tear information if he's not relaxing too much (I believe he's taking a week off).

Kevin, I bought two of Iron Woody's next to the lightest bands (red markers). The quality is good. I used them for assisted pullups at first, but found out they didn't help at the top of my pullups where I needed the most help. Now I use them for mil presses and squats and such. I think they'd be great water balloon launchers too.

Thanks! After mulling it over, I think I'm gonna get these. I just have one more Q: Does the site sell them in pairs or alone? Because I was looking at the starter kit, and the price would seem to infer that you're getting six bands alltogether (no.'s 1,2, and 3). Just wanna make sure before purchasing. :D

Thanks,

Kevin

Sorry I didn't see your post until now Kevin.
That's what I have. Just two of the red marked ones (I guess those are the #2 bands).

Sorry, I was napping!!! Thanks for the nudge Larry!
Yes, Kevin, you'll be pleased with these bands. I ordered the #1 and #2 bands (plain and red) for our jr. high kids and they love them. We have used them almost every week for pull ups, thrusters, deadlifts, squats, etc. The kids call them "moon bouncers" when we use them on the pull up bars.
Overall quality- great
Speed of shipping- excellent
Responsiveness- pretty damn good
I think you'll be pleased. I also think Ross H. ordered some, if I'm not mistaken.
Now, back to the self-imposed exile and rest!

Pleasant surprise! I just found out today, upon the band's arrival, that my dad ordered a pair of #2's, #3's, and #4's. I'ma go test out some of tyler's gymnastics exercises. >:P
