Building on the idea from http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messages/3499/5556.htmlthis thread.

Would anyone be interested in trying to get a group buy together for medicine balls? So far we have 2 people interested, myself and Larry L. This week I will contact the Dynamax folks (www.medicineballs.com) and see if they'll offer a group buy and how many people would be required. Please post up in this thread if you're interested.

I have found 1 distributor that advertises a price of $98.96/ball for orders of 6 balls or more. I also received an email back from Jim C. at Dynamax, he's willing to work with us on a group buy, but would like to know how many people are interested. I have told him I'll email him back on Friday (10/1) with a number. So speak now or forever hold your peace.

I have been interested in picking up at least a 20lb med ball for some time ... group buy seems a good idea ... thanks for the work Matt.

I could be interested but $98 is still too high for me. I would probably only want one about 14lbs.

Count me in for a 20lb med ball. Good idea, Matt. I am also in the initial stages of setting up a home gym. My next investment will be a Door Gym (pull-up bar), power rings, and later - a good weight set plus a set of Kettlebells.

Count me in, too, for one 20-pounder.

At this point (Sunday afternoon) we're at 5, plus a request to see if we can also rustle up a 14lb. ball. Moving along nicely.
