Been lurking, and getting ready to start CF "real soon now". You guys are gonna scream when you see the power rack, chin bar etc that I nabbed for $500. Pictures soon.
Since finding the site, I have become disenchanted with my local gym. Today was just too much with the woman screaming at the spinners.:angry:
Anyway, today I began a with a crossfit-ish workout at the local gym. Thank God I have been doing classic membership gym stuff, otherwise I would have been hurtin' big time.
Started with CFWU, 2 sets samson stretch, assisted pullups and dips, Whew! Already sweating and huffing.
Followed with 3 sets military press (50lb), 3 sets squats with a 22 lb bar.
FInished quickly, sweating like mad and huffin' and puffin'. Right on.
Today I WILL finish clearing out the garage, so I can get the gear moved in.
It is also VERY clear to me that you don't do your first Wall Ball with a 20 lb DynaMax! Gotta order a smaller ball.
