Re: pull up bars for apartment

You can always do what I did in my apt. I bought an S2 squat rack from rogue and hung rings from that and put it in my bedroom. Got a vest too. Now I have my pullup bar, dips, mu's, ring rows, etc. in my bedroom, and when I get more space, I can buy a barbell and bumpers and be in business.

If space and doorways are an issue, Rack Chins are the least expensive alternative if you already have a squat rack and barbell.

I do not have a squat rack nor a barbell. Currently I'm using dumbells for weight

Re: pull up bars for apartment

Check out the S2 if you have high enough ceilings. I think my apt has 8' ceilings, which fits it perfectly. You'll have it forever and can always add a barbell when you have the room for it. Otherwise for now its a freestanding pullup bar that you can hang rings from. Throw some sandbags or weights on the bottom and you can kip on it too.

Re: pull up bars for apartment

I put up a stud-mounted bar from Garage Gym in the garage. If I was single, it would be in my home office...
