Jumping on Wall Ball Shots?
Hi Guys!
Simple question: Am i allowed to jump during wallballs? I'm asking because i can go much faster and the WBSs feel much more comfortable when im jumping, but i think with jumping its much easier to reach the 10ft mark. That's why im asking, too. |

No you shouldn't jump.
Make sure you get below parallel on the squat when catching it. The power to throw it to the 10ft mark comes from accelerating out of the squat position, just like on thrusters. Would you jump on thrusters? ![]() |

Jumping on wall ball decreases its efficiency, but increases the ease of making the 10ft mark.

i jump when doing wall ball especially when really fatigued. and david i have jumped when doing heavy thrusters. also when i do heavy clean and jerks, heavy snatches i jump so why not on wall ball when im super fatigued.
