Second Set of Squat Stands

I'm currently in the market for a 2nd set of stands to be used primarily by my wife/ a 2nd lifter when our primary squat rack is occupied. The primary deciding factor is price followed closely by stability. I've searched the forum for info on these Valor BD3 stands, but found limited opinions/pics of them out in the wild.

http://www.christiansfitnessfactory....3-Squat-Stands (WFS).

Under the features tab it states a 500lb max load which is well outside my wifes limit. Opinions? The best price I've seen is $155 shipped on Amazon; by far the most economical choice, but will I regret it?

All opinions/other suggestions are appreciated. These will be used in our garage on top of a 6' piece of plywood. (Would love anRogue stand, but i think it will be to big to do Olympic lifts in the same space.)

Re: Second Set of Squat Stands

Those will probably be fine as long as she's not looking to squat big weight on it. There's also this one to consider:

Body Solid Squat Stands PSS60X
http://www.jesupgym.com/products.php?cid=13 (WFS)

$145.95 shipped

The nice things about these stands is that they're one piece so they tend to be a little more stable than independent squat stands (though my gym just got a pair of Rogue's new H-base independent squat stands and those are stable as hell, but they're definitely on the heavier side). Plus they're a little cheaper than the ones you're asking about above.

You'll be fine with either the one I recommended or the one you posted. Just figured I'd give you another option. Good luck!

Where are these Rogue independent squat stands you speak of? I cannot seem to find them and would like to have a few of these for the gym. Thanks

They aren't out yet. Our gym is testing them out Will keep you posted with a full review and pictures within a week. So far, they hold up a 145kg FS quite easily without even so much as a wobble.

Re: Second Set of Squat Stands

I'd love to see pictures of these things. In an email from Bill he said they've made it through testing and are now going through production. Approximately 3 weeks out from selling.

Re: Second Set of Squat Stands

My question is will the Rogue stands be small/light enough to ship to APO addresses?
