Well, I'm still trying to figure exactly what Crossfit is, but from what I can see here on the forum, it looks like a place that is very much in line with how I train myself and how I train others when they ask for my help.

Most of my training is done with kettlebells, olympic style lifts and bodyweight conditioning. I try and keep it functional for everyday life, exciting and challenging.

Hi Tim, welcome aboard. You might want to start by downloading the free CrossFit magazine and reading it. There is a ton of useful info there that explains what CrossFit is and how to begin.

Gibson, are you the drummer for Green Day?

Hodges, you have a good background. Do some of the benchmark workouts and see where yer at.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I'll be getting to those benchmark workouts here pretty quick. As a former Marine and an advocate to training hard and training often, I lookforward to the challenge as well as seeing how well I fit in.
