Interesting...I used to work with one of his, oh, co-practitioners for a while. You may meet him if you go to a seminar. Dave Merrill? I actually trained a couple of times with he and his brother. GREAT guys, and a very interesting martial art. One of these days I would love to REALLY train in Systema. Unfortunately, I just don't have the logistical support to be able to commit the time and energy to truly study and practice "The System" (Being married and having a little guy cuts into my play time nowadays....).

Actually Frank, I'm SHOCKED you didn't list Teal'c, or maybe Master Bratac(sp)?

Re: Top 5 People You Want To Workout With?

I would go with:

1. Jungle Jim (from years ago. 16 year old 500 lb. bencher; yikes!)
2. Ripp (I'd bring a tape recorder with me so I wouldn't miss anything)
3. George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher (I gotta see if that neck is as strong as it looks)
4. Ted Arcidi or Ken Lain (both are just awesome)
5. Louie Simmons (a.k.a.-the king)

Cool thinking about some of these guys again. Tomorrow is power day and I am already pumped up to do it.
