Re: Unauthorized "Starting Strength Bar"

To Mark, Dr. Kilgore, anyone associated with Aasgard Company, and anyone else reading the previous post,

The product description for the black zinc “strength bar” listed on the Pendlay Barbell website was mistakenly used for that bar. It is obviously not the correct description for the bar, you can easily see that this is a black zinc bar, yet it is described as a “natural steel finish”. This text came from an effort at collaboration some time in the past, when there was an effort underway for me to produce a Starting Strength bar made to Mark Rippetoe’s specifications. Bars were produced and the website page was made ready, but in the end the bars were never marketed.

In the somewhat confusing process of changing my website to reflect the merger between MuscledriverUSA and Pendlay Barbell, people other than myself have been working on the website, as should be apparent by the much improved look of the site! During the process, this text, which had been saved within the site during the past effort at collaboration with Mark but never published, was inadvertently attached to this bar, which it shouldn’t have been. It will be removed. We do apologize for the confusion, and would like to assure Mark and Dr. Kilgore and everyone else that this was a simple mistake and not meant to confuse anyone or imply a relationship that does not exist.
