Re: What did you get for Christmas?

Santa bought me a plane ticket to Paralympic Track Nationals in Los Angeles. Thanks Mom and Dad! Yeah, It's not 'till July, but taking care of the plane ride makes my life so much less complicated.
My sister got me jeans which I desperately need.

I've been buying myself bike parts over the past month. My bike is falling apart and I have had to/need to replace the crankset, bottom bracket, spokes for the wheel, headset, chain, and saddle.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?

Much wanted fractional plates and a very much needed Buddy Lee jump rope...so I will have to apply myself to finally learn how to do doubleunders (since my shoulder is out of commission I have zero excuses now) - Thank you Lynne!

January 8 dinner theatre tickets from my brother and his wife. This will probably be the last time my family will be together for better than a year as my brother is finalizing his move to Colorado at the end of January.

A trip to Hawaii from Santa Mom was under the tree too! Very, very nice! Now I just have to pick a two week block to go....I would love to leave this dreadful Wisconsin winter behind, but flying out of here is becoming a huge problem to to the weather.

When my boys were younger we had to "protect" Santa for the youngest. We made it very clear to the older two that you couldn't receive gifts from someone you didn't "believe" in. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more.

They're now 24, 22 and 18 and still play the game.

"Dog-O-Pedia"

It's a little mini-size, cute book. Filled with all kinds of facts about dogs....for the hard-core!
