Hi, new to Crossfit but not new to weightlifting!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dylan, I'm a compulsive exerciser. I've been working out since I was 13, and eating right since that age too. In fact I haven't had ONE soda or potato chip since that age. Those are the two things I've completely cut out of my life. I went through a 'bodybuilding' phase, then on to sport specific training for football and baseball, then dabbed into powerlifting and olympic lifting.
My friend told me about Crossfit and I have never heard of it back a few months ago, which I was surprised because I'm big on the subject of health and fitness programs, especially functional strength type things. So I went to a crossfit facility with a friend of mine a month ago or so for several visits and I LOVE it. Thing is, I'm not going to drop $100 a month to workout there. It's ok though, I just need to get rings and I'm set.
Anyway I've been lurking for a few days already and like what I see, a lot of informative postings. It's an honor to be a part of the crossfit community.

Thanks man, so far I'm loving crossfit. I haven't felt this great since my football days! Well, I still play but in a rec league. I've dabbed into it at the facility I went to and just started with the WOD's, I'll probably make a journal to track my progress!

Looking strong in your avi.
