Pittsburgh Cook out at Jay's

I was talking to Jay Cohen about having a cookout, WOD and Pittsburgh get together at his place, which is about 1hr 15 minutes from the Burgh. We have to work out some details, but it will be on the weekend, probably a Sat. Everyone going should make a dish, preferably Zone or Paleo (this is a Crossfit thing afterall). Jay also has a decently equiped garage gym with tires for flipping and some other stuff, so we are thinking of a light WOD before eating and then whatever.

If you are interested, just post to this thread with a couple of weekends that are good for you. THanks and see you there

I'm drooling. It's about 2 hours away from me, but June won't work AT ALL.
Have fun!

Re: Pittsburgh Cook out at Jay's

July (after the fourth) and August are both pretty open. I'd need to talk this one over with the non-CrossFitting other breadwinner in the house and make sure we're on the same page as far as reasonable expenses. We've got friends in the Burgh so we could visit them on a Saturday and make a Sunday afternoon WOD/potluck and then he and I would both be happy! (I married a social butterfly, what can I say, he makes me friendly.)

I'd like to make it, will have to write back shortly. Between the significant other, my kid, and climbing the weekends tend to get spoken for quickly - but this sounds like a really good time.

Cool, let me know. It would be fun to get together and put a face to the name. Also, Jay's avatars always look good enough to eat.

Guys I would love to attend if you don't mind having a NC guy up.

I will be up that way in July and possibly again in Aug.

Let me know what weekend you choose.

Love to have Jay run me into the ground again.

Jamie,

I grew up in Sharon so sweet tea has never been a taste I've appreciated.

Daffins chocolate on the other hand...

Do we have a date yet?
