Workout Log after ACL Surgery

I have been crossfitting since the summer of 2008 and have not done another type of workout since the day I did my first crossfit workout.

On August 3rd I tore my ACL & both my meniscus' playing soccer and it has been determined that I will be having surgery on my knee in the next 2 weeks or so. I have been floating around the boards looking for workout logs from people that have had other lower body injuries that have kept them from running/rowing/jumping/oly lifting for a significant period of time and have only found this one http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=47381.

I found out from the surgeon that he does not expect me to be able to run for about 6 months and that I will not be able to take part in normal sports like soccer for 12 months if at all.

Can any of you help and set me up with a few links to other upper body workout logs that I can reference to help me stay fit for the next 6 months until I can start using my entire body once again?

8/22 Workout & Notes

Since I haven't seen any response yet, I figure I'll start my own and maybe someone can use it in the future.

On Monday 8/22 I did 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of HSPU, Pull-ups, Push-ups & Sit-ups. My time was 19:06.

I took yesterday, Tuesday 8/23 off.

I will work out again tonight and post after.

In other news, I talked to the surgery scheduler this morning. I will be having my surgery next Wednesday morning. Better get as many days of training in before that as possible because I will probably be pretty slow moving for a couple weeks after.

I canceled surgery on Wednesday because the doctor told me if I had surgery in Santa Clara he was going to make me do all my physical therapy down there too. It would take about 5 hours out of my day each time I went down there for PT, so I'm meeting a surgeon here in SF next week and will schedule surgery after that.

Tuesday 8/30 I did 10 rounds: 10 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 20 sit-ups. My time was 16:02

Nope. The surgery was going to be done in Santa Clara, which is about an hour from here and the doctor was going to require me to do all my physical therapy there as well. I wasn't able to make that happen because of the logistics of getting down there for every single PT session, so I cancelled it and found a doctor in SF. Only problem was, I couldn't get in to have surgery with him until November 16th. That's when I'm scheduled to have the surgery now.

I've been trying hard to get workouts in on a regular basis, but it's really hard to find the motivation when you're pretty much stuck to the same old exercises and absolutely no heavy lifting because your base is not sturdy enough to support the weight. Isn't "constantly varied" what Crossfit is all about?!

The best thing is that I've been able to ride a bike for a month or so now, so I can at least get the knee moving and work the legs a little. I've got about 4 weeks until the surgery, so I guess I'll have to find a way to kick it in gear so when I'm out of commission after I don't fall too far behind.
