This may sound like a stupid question but I have never coocked plain egg whites before out of a carton and I bought some to add them to my diet. Are they cooked the same way regular eggs are? Since they are liquid which is why im a bit confused.

To answer your question, yes egg whites can be cook the same as regular eggs. However, why toss the yolks? forget cholesterol, egg yolks are incredibly nutrient rich!

Sears in the Zone diet is anti egg yolks for 2 reason te earachidonic acid content and the LDL. I believe the concesus feeling is that the latter isn't a issue and the former not a concern if you eat eggs with a high W3 content.
