See? That is why I smoke rock.

No empty calories and I feel realy energized right afterward (after I stop coughing).

Beer is enough of it's own excuse to drink it. The monks in Belgium used beer to make it through their periods of fasting. I would be interested in trying this.

jeremy - finally someone who understands!

steve - if they were drinking beer, they weren't fasting. they were probably schnackered too, drinking on empty stomachs.

I'll be honest here. Ever since getting pretty much 95 - 100% on the zone I haven't really wanted to drink any beer etc.

We went to a big 4th of July BBQ with a lot of our friends and I didn't even have one beer! I didn't even want one either. Not that one beer will do much I just haven't had the urge to drink at all. It's like my body has shut down that area or something.

Last night I went out without drinking for the first time in... well, almost ever.

Here in Lisbon people just party non stop. I look at my workout log and there's a scary number of "hungover. no WoD" entries.

Hmm..... not very CF.

And I'm moving to Brasil soon so doesn't look like it'll get any better!

I discovered that getting absolutely blitzed isn't really all that fun. You have fun for a 4-5 hours, then pay for it for the next 24. I'd much rather have a high-quality beer or glass of wine with dinner than a 12-pack of Bud Light any day. A "big drinking night" for me now generally involves a grand total of 5-6 beers over as many hours....man I'm turning into an old boring guy.

Jeremy, that was one of the funniest things I've seen on this board. :-) As for alcohol, I used to be a pretty heavy drinker. I refuse to drink now for fear of the athletic repercussions.

Being that I'm kinda' drunk right now, I'll wait to read this until tomorrow. I'll rest assured that the fact that I drink once a month at most is enough to save me any horrible damage...(I hope, I guess I'll wait to be freaked out in the morning :p)
