Yeah, it was some relief to get out of that suit, especially the hat

Oh yes, I have seen the workouts as well >>> http://www.londonthrowdown.com/

WOD 1: Hate! Made for small and light people (a trend of late)
WOD 2: Love!! At least its a bit heavier
WOD 3: Not sure, doubles are horrible but the grippy part could play to me.

Re: A Bears Tale

WOD 1 - I hate thrusters!!
WOD 2 - I like all the movemets in this one, just trying to decide what weight to go with for the buy in/cash out.
WOD 3 - Never done K2E Pull ups before.

I'm hitting WOD 1 tonight, still trying to figure out how im going to break it up.

Yeah, luckily we hardly ever do air squats as there a waste of knee cartileage when you can hit them weighted!!

I got disqualified from the UK Throwdown for those air squats which I admit were not full ROm hip open, my beef is that many others done the same yet have been allowed to go so will not be competing in the UK throwdown anymore.

Im going with 60k for the buy in/out, its a quick easy weight for me and I can go straight into the shoulder to overhead without grabbing a different bar.

Also never done k2E pull ups before, will try them out later.

Re: A Bears Tale

Well that sure sucks that you got disqualified and others didn't!! I don't blame you for not doing that throwdown anymore! But you do have to practice those airsquats as they can easily be part of any competition.

And if they are I will do them properly, I knew what I was doing, just trying to go faster and match the standards of most who I had already watched videos. In comps your judge concentrates on either the top or bottom of the air squat

its the London Throwdown workout, I hate it, chin over pull ups and super light thrusters with burpees, nothing in there that says fun to me.

The santa fun run was good and muscle ups afterwards
