CrossFit California City holding Tribute WOD

CrossFit California City will be hosting the following tribute WOD. For more info, email me or find me and my affiliate page on Facebook.

Capt. Mark “Dash” Graziano was killed when his T-38 crashed near California City last week. Dash was attending the USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) at Edwards AFB. TPS has many students who are CrossFitters, and CrossFit California City will honor Dash with a tribute WOD on June 6th at 10 AM. CFCC has close ties to Edwards AFB, and will, in classic CrossFit fashion, remember Dash and his contribution to his nation during the tribute. Dash was known for his ingenuity and love of all things that fly. Dash was a decorated USAF pilot and native of Long Island, NY.

Everyone in the Edwards AFB and surrounding communities is welcome to attend and participate in the tribute workout. Refreshments will follow with friends and fellow TPS students as they all remember Dash and celebrate his life. For more information contact

“Dash” (easily scaled with weight and reps)

Individual WOD

For Time:
Run 200m “Dash”
Deadlift 155#, 21 Reps
Run 200m “Dash”
Push Press, 95#, 21 Reps
Run 200m “Dash”
Burpees, 21 Reps
Run 200m “Dash” to Pig’s Corner (pullup station)
Pullups, 21 Reps

Team WOD

Each Team must complete this entire circuit as many times as they have members, and it can be broken into parts however the team wants to do it. For instance, some of the members can be responsible for the dashes, others the weights, etc. At CFCC each team will have at least one regular CrossFitter assigned to the team along with the other participants in the WOD. We will have many folks here who will be tasting CF for the first time. We don’t want to overload them.
