Starting to explore Canadian Affiliate - Insurance?

We're starting to explore the options of a local affiliate and I'm just curious to hear from any other Canadians out there and your insurance costs/issues etc.

We're very early in the preliminary stages of thinking about this from a biz standpoint but any advice, tips from fellow Canadians would be great.

The RRG Group looks great for US affiliates and hopefully we see something similar within Canada and abroad eventually.

Re: Starting to explore Canadian Affiliate - Insurance?

I just insured my place through our general liability insurance provider, AllSport Canada. They suply insurance to martial arts and clubs and such. I just added CrossFit as one of the things we do at our location, describing what CrossFit was and had them added as one of the names beneficiaries.

AllSports Broker is Pearson Dunn insurance in Hamilton.

I'm with Sports-Can, based out of BC. Rates are pretty reasonable. (WFS)
