needing insurance for Canadian affiliation.. no luck so far

Ok folks I am getting really frustrated here... I am in Saskatchewan, Canada and looking for insurance to meet the requirements for affiliation. I am in a small town and I am not looking to make big bucks on this affiliation rather would like to offer session to those who are interested (small fee or donation based). Anyway the quotes I am getting back for insurance are making it difficult for me to justify the affiliation (financially). The first quote I got was for $5,300.00 the next was SportCan for $1,500.00. This seems awfully high when considering local fight instructors (kickboxing and TKD) are insured for $250 a year.

Are there any Canadians on here that have found insurance (personal liability) that will cover Crossfit for a reasonable price?

Thanks so much for listening to me vent and for your assistance!

Robin

Talk to Becky becky.robar AT westernfinancialgroup.net

She helped me out a bunch, worked thru all the kinks, got me a great price and was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Very impressed and very happy with the level of service, highly recommended.

thanks so much for your help!! I ended up talking to Eldstrom insurance and they contacted SportCan... initially the quote was 1500 but we were able to get it down to 625 for 2 trainers... 2 more steps and we can affiliate!!
