I have a question about the correct start position for the military press ie, rack position. I have been working on cleans and want to press from the racked/cleaned position. My problem is wrist position, because if I grip the bar in my palms, with shoulders forward to rack bar, and formarms forward of bar my wrists are fully flexed back to allow bar to be racked, this is uncomfortable and poor postion.
If I straighten my wrists in line with forearms, I cannot maintain bar on shoulders.
My question is how much wrist flexion is ok? or should I bring bar from rack position to enable a better press?
