Re: Bodyweight Workout Resource v2.0

I really appreciate this. I've been CrossFitting for a little over 2 months but I leave for Rome on Sunday where I will be spending the next 4 months for school. I have rings, a jump rope, and a nice big park to go to that should have bars. I'm probably going to be referring to this PDF [i]a lott.[i] I'm definitely going to be careful to pick the right workouts. What I think is a good idea is to make a split like you said so that you know Monday or whatever might be metcon day but don't pick the metcon until the day of...or make a split and pick all your workouts according to that split a week in advance.

Thanks man! Great resource!

I am a recruiter for the AF and have to ensure 40+ people are ready for basic training. This helps out a lot !

Re: Bodyweight Workout Resource v2.0

I understand the workouts, but what about people that cant do that amount of work? What are the progress's? Like the Angie workout 100 each pull-ups,push-ups,sit-ups,and squats?
How do you take a person that is total out of shape and make them a CF'er?(Me)

Re: Bodyweight Workout Resource v2.0

Shane - just wanted to chime in and say thanks! I have a little booklet version of this that goes everywhere with me. I've used this on vacation where I had little to no gear, in programming workout sessions for my marines (I'm a reservist and only see them once a month, and we have little to no gear)

So again, thanks so much for this great resource!!!

Re: Bodyweight Workout Resource v2.0

Thanks for putting this together. I have had a copy for quite some time and find it helpful for finding ideas for a workout. I am in an area where there is no affiliate and have also used this on a regular basis for conducting PT within my unit.

If I could make one suggestion... or two.

This really only applies if an updated version is ever going to be created.

I reference the document, then check for video demonstrating the exercise. It would be helpful (mostly when showing other people the movement's or providing them the PDF file for their own use) to have hyperlinks to the videos.

Also, if there is an updated version to have a link to this thread to check for updates and open further discussion.

Again, the file is awesome and I am not trying to say the creator didn't do a great job (especially with this being my second post on this forum and the fact that he did an outstanding job compiling this). I was just tossing out the idea that came to mind while I was reading it in preparation for tomorrows workout.

Thanks again.
