I DO know squat - Dan's Log

Figured I'd start one of these up, more to keep track of things myself than anything else. I've been doing the mainpage WOD on a 5on2off schedule seriously for about 4 months now. Was adding mainpage WOD off an on into a more strength oriented routine for about 6 months before that.

Bar muscle up practice 3 sets: 5,5 and 4, mostly deadhang, some lightly kipped towards the end

Wall supported HSPU 2 sets: 7 and 5 reps (wide hand placement, not ideal)

Weighted Pull-Ups 1x7
50x1, 75x1, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1(F)

Assorted oly lift practice
Hang full squat cleans, ramped up to 115, 3-4 reps per set
Couple hang snatches

Deadlift 3x5

Got way too greedy after the past couple days of ME, and definitely should have held back after angie. Serious fatigue going on, core collapsed (abs went first) on rep 2 of 295, no hitch or fail, however. 285 was sloppy too. Rounding seemed localized to upper back. Lower back stayed relatively tight and didn't feel in danger.

Then: maybe 2 - 3 minutes jump rope with DU's and crossovers and a few muscle ups

Forgot to add for 01May2008

2 sets of HSPU wall supported. 6 and 4 reps. Got REAL close to the wall with my hands and kept feet off the wall to practice lateral stability. Definitely harder

Miscellaneous gymnastics practice
HSPU assisted by a soccer goal, some free standing HS practice (need a lot of work on these)
Couple MUs
Playing around with the 35 and 50lb kettlebells

Uneven farmer's runs, 50lb and 35lb kettlebell. Relays with 2 other people around a little leaque baseball field.
