I've spoken to the former producer of CrossFit Live and for those of you who have been wondering what happend to it, the following is what I've got for you.

(I haven't spoken to Dave Young personally but this is what I've got)

Dave Young is having great success with his training business. This fact means that he has very little time to devote to CrossFit Live. He is not dead. In fact he is apparently very well.

Jamila Bey the producer has been working full time on her own business as well and has no time to devote to CrossFit Live.

CrossFit Live required a great deal of effort by both Dave Young and Jamila Bey and had very little live interest. Its hard to run a call in radio show when no one wants to call in.

The show is not officially dead so to speak and I haven't spoken to Dave Young but I will try to do so and get more information from him.

I am going to try and revive this, but if it is revisited I would expect some changes. Thats all I've got and I hope to have more information on the subject in the near future.

Frankly the interest simply wasn't there in the past. I'm hoping thats different now or will be in the future.

Pierre, thanks for your diligence in finding some answers to this perplexing problem. It is unfortunate that there was little interest in this valuable resource. I certainly hope they can make another go of it in the new year.

Thanks for the update. I was afraid to ask what happened because I thought I would jinx it or find out some bad news that I didn't want to know. I'm glad that Dave & Jamila are doing so well that they have to put aside the show for a while. I was never able to listen live but love to listen to the archives. I would be happy if it was a monthly audio journal/interview that I could download.

Anyway, I look forward to its resurrection should that day arrive.

I'm looking at some alternative formats for the show that might make it more feasible. I'm pretty creative and have some ideas that might work but I'm no radio show host.

I got a lot out of CF Live, but had to download instead of lsten live due to the time difference.
Great show, hope it continues in the future.

I really enjoyed the show, but could never get the live feed due to network issues. Hope to see CF Live make a return!

Is it still possible to access
the shows for download?

I don't think I got all of them
though I was hoping to.

I also wonder if the show
was a bit before its time...

...the community population
seems to have had an exponential
explosion lately.

easy question to answer...
Crossfit Live site is still
there, I tried once in the
past and couldn't access it,
so I thought the link had died.
