I was wondering if some of you could send me some good links to SCIENTIFIC articles discussing eating good carbs.
Specifically the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables over grains. I am looking for real science not anecdotal testimony. Thanks! |

Keith,
Have you read any of the articles Loren Cordain has written? I like the one he wrote on Syndrome X, which makes a strong case for linking high-glycemic-load foods with Syndrome X and diseases of western civilization: http://www.thepaleodiet.com/articles...es%20Final.pdf There are lots of other good articles on his site, too: http://www.thepaleodiet.com/articles.htm I'll do a more thorough search later--this is just off the top of my head. Thanks, I've been reading those. Great stuff! I should have specified that I wanted some diversity too. Some corroborating evidence if you will. Keith |
