I've tried this stuff and really liked it and I'm not a fan or much of a believer in 'sports drinks'. Anyway, here's a WFS link with more info.

Not sure if its marketed everywhere yet but I heard the company is working on a 'patch' to supposedly do the same thing the drink does.

Pedialyte is really awful stuff. It's an electrolyte formula all right, but do a web search and look at the awful ingredients!

I've used GU2O and been satisfied with the results: light tasting, fast absorption, and no nausea. Be sure to follow the directions and mix with about 40% warm water, shake well, and the fill with cold water. Otherwise you'll be eating clumps.

I've had good experience with Alacer's(same maker of emergen-C) ElectroMIX. It has no sweeteners, artificial or real. One packet mixes with 1 liter of water. http://www.alacer.com/cgi-bin/dbsearch.exe?mdb=/products.mdb,tbl=products,DB_code=108,DBCOMP=ABS,t emplate=/products/returntitle.htm

Also, sea salt(I like Real Salt brand) is good mixed with water. I'm not sure of the exact ratios. If you use a lot of it in your meals, it may not be neccessary adding to water.
