According to my logbook, I started 70s Big squatting 225x5x3 in December 2009 and got up to 310x5x3 by mid-February. Then I did Games-specific programming for most of the rest of the year until I decided to do a PL meet in December 2010. I hit a PR squat of 380 at that meet and haven't done a recent 1RM, but I got 334x8 yesterday on my final GSLP set. I started GSLP a little low two months ago (about 240lbs for 5-5-13 reps) but haven't come close to needing a reset. So I'm planning to carry this out as long as possible.

I'd have to find my old old logbook to be certain, but I can remember around three years ago when I weighed 175lbs at 6' tall and struggled to squat 200lbs or deadlift 300lbs. Before I started doing a real strength program I was just adding a 3x5s or 5x3s before my affiliate's workouts a few times a week and I saw ok progress on those, but my stuff wasn't on a logical schedule so results were a bit limited.

My numbers are pretty lopsided as well. I did crossfit total about 5 weeks ago and was at 310lbs on DL and 225lbs on squat. I'm on my 3rd week of 70sBig S&C and I can already tell my squat is getting much stronger. My ROM is getting better and I can see a difference in how strong I feel doing them. I had hoped to get 6 weeks completed but we are heading for CO next Thursday for 11 days and I won't have access to a gym. When we get back the gym I go to is shut down for a week. so it looks like I will have a little over two weeks off.
