Smile One Month

Although I sometimes get discouraged that I'm not accomplishing more (cuz more is better, right?) one month in I've got to acknowledge some pretty cool noob achievements.

- I learned the 9 fundamental movements & started to work on the snatch
-I went from a 100 pound deadlift to 140 (3 reps)
-I learned how to kip and can do 3 in a row
-I can do a GHD sit-up workout as Rx'ed (without alien baby phantom pregnancy)
-Lost 2% body fat - (Can thank Paleo/WAM for that)
-Ran my first 5k
-Have outgrown a few of my shirts in the shoulders
-Best part- my hubby poking my leg and saying, "Wow, you are getting really jacked." Wee!

It's a start. May not be a huge deal but I feel pretty good about it. I hope every month I'll continue to see more improvements!

Good work everybody!

Re: One Month

Well done!

That 2% loss is really motivating for me. I think the scale is going to be lying to me for awhile, so the idea of dropping the body fat and doing recomp is very exciting.

Good luck for continued awesomeness.
